Community rules
Last updated: 11 October 2026
Why these rules exist
Reenter works when tenants and landlords can trust each other. These rules apply to everyone who will list, apply, message or review on Reenter, and to agents acting for them. Breaking them can lead to removed content, suspended accounts and, where the law is broken, reports to the authorities.
Equal treatment
Don’t refuse, restrict or change terms for anyone because of language, race, nationality, colour, gender, disability, political opinion, philosophical belief, religion or sect. Under Turkish Criminal Code article 122, preventing someone from renting property offered to the public for these reasons is a crime. You may set lawful, objective criteria such as affordability, number of occupants or pets.
Honest listings
- List only property you own, a close family member owns, or you are authorised to market through EİDS.
- Describe the home, rent, building fee and condition accurately, with recent photos.
- Show the full price. Don’t advertise a lower rent than you will ask for.
- Remove a listing once the home is rented.
Fair leases
- Use terms the law allows: rent in Turkish lira, a deposit no higher than three months’ rent, increases within the legal cap, no penalty clauses against the tenant.
- Don’t ask tenants to sign an eviction commitment together with the lease.
- Pay rent and deposits through banks or Reenter’s payment partners, never in cash without a record.
Safety and fraud
- Never pay a deposit or rent before seeing the home and verifying the owner.
- Once payments are live, don’t ask anyone to pay outside Reenter or to share passwords or card details.
- Report suspicious listings or messages to rahmanov@reenter-tr.com.
Respectful communication and reviews
- No harassment, threats, hate speech or sharing someone’s personal data without permission.
- Reviews must describe a real tenancy honestly. No fake, paid or retaliatory reviews.
- Respect privacy: don’t share photos of a tenant’s belongings or documents publicly.
Enforcement and appeals
We may remove content or limit accounts that break these rules. If you think we got it wrong, reply to our message or email us and a person will review it.
